The Future WhereAI Amplifies Humanity
We build intelligent products that enhance human potential.
AI is Generative,
Humans are Creative.
AI generates by imitating patterns from human work, but true creativity, the spark of originality and purposeful vision, remains uniquely human.
Vision
We envision a future where AI serves as a catalyst for human progress, not as a replacement. As a partner that amplifies creativity.
In this future, AI seamlessly integrates into human life in every practical way possible, handling the complexities so humans can focus on what truly matters: connection, purpose, and growth.
Our vision is a bright future.
The future can't be stopped, but it can be shaped.
Mission
It is our mission to ensure our future vision. To that end, we build intelligent products that automate human capability across personal, work, and business.
Our products handle the hard work while ensuring that humanity is never obsolete and never replaced. Every product is made with our values as the center focus.
Our mission is to stick to our values.
We shape the future, as it should be.
Our Values
The principles that guide every decision we make and every product we build.
Human-Centric

Innovation
We push the boundaries of progress by creating new possibilities to transform challenges into opportunities for growth and human creativity.

Who We Serve
We practice all-stakeholder capitalism: shareholders are stakeholders, alongside the customers, builders, creators, and communities whose long-term interests rise and fall altogether. Compounding shareholder returns are produced by serving every constituency well.
Society
We build to genuinely empower people, in alignment with our motto: “Empower, Never Replace.” We do not ship dark patterns. This posture is our brand moat.
Shareholders
We honor investor and shareholder trust by making it our duty to optimize for long-term enterprise value and ensure compounded returns that are built to last.
Contributors
Everyone who builds at elAgent shares in the upside they create. Employees, advisors, creators, and partners are well compensated in the long term.
How We Work
People Ops
elAgent has no traditional HR department and no “human resources” mindset. We do not see humans as resources to be used, retired, and/or disposed of. People Ops as our Modus Operandi exists to make people successful by replacing archaic “HR” systems with nurturing growth and the essential functions a company legally requires.
Remote
We mainly work remotely. In-person or hybrid happens only on absolute necessity: hardware development, physical infrastructure operations, and security-sensitive or regulatory work. “Necessity” is always by nature of the work.
OBW (Output-Based Work)
We measure overall value delivered, not activity. We do not stress timesheets or hourly-tracking, no micro-management, and no "9-to-5" imprisonment. We value you as a partner and as a productive member of the organization.
Four-Day Work Week
We mainly operate Monday through Thursday. Fridays and weekends are considered sacred. We ensure this across the board and expect all members of the organization to observe company-off days by default.
Unlimited PTO
We trust all members of the organization with uncapped Paid Time-Off. To that effect, we mandate a mandatory minimum of 15 days PTO per fiscal year as an enforced floor, so “unlimited” never quietly becomes less.
AI-Boosted
We build AI and we use AI (approved ones). Multiplying your output is encouraged and celebrated here, provided there is a clear understanding and accountability for everything you ship with AI.
How We Hire
Hiring Philosophy
Talent. We hire for demonstrated capability, not for flashy credentials.
Passion. We expect you to have genuine interest in what the role entails.
Culture. We continuously assess for alignment with our Modus Operandi.
Practical. Interviews follow the actual work. Never leetcode or puzzles.
Transparency. The hiring committee's rubric and notes are visible to candidates.
Focus. Exclusive dedication is expected of candidates, as our missions demand.
Interview Rounds
Knowledge
Introductions, a culture overview, a conversational resume walk-through, and a theoretical discussion of the role's domain.
Practical
A working session in the role's actual craft, exactly as on the job. The round is scaled to the level: entry-level candidates get an interviewer-led tour of the role's technical challenges, experienced candidates work hands-on, and leadership candidates demonstrate the technical chain of delivering business value.
Business
A deep dive into where the role sits and how it contributes to value, revenue, and stakeholder benefit. Additionally, a deep dive into our culture, ownership mindset, and autonomous working style.
Our commitments
Two weeks max. All three rounds conclude within two calendar weeks of Round 1.
Under 3 hours. Each round of the interview loop runs under one hour and your total interview time stays under three hours.
No ghosting. Every applicant who reaches any human interaction receives a human response, and every résumé is reviewed by a human.
Human feedback. Candidates receive the final decision with curated feedback, whichever way the interview goes.
Compensation Packs
Fixed Salary
elAgent operates by fixed salaries, not hourly structures or timesheets. Every level has a published internal pay band with clear, fair, and competitive market ranges, and the salary range for the role is shared with you before your first interview.
Share Allocation
Everyone who builds elAgent is a stakeholder, so every hire gets stock. Your grant is stated plainly in your offer. And each promotion to a higher level comes with a fresh compensation pack of shares, in addition to the shares granted prior.
Hiring Mechanisms
Employee
A full-time member of the company, exclusively committed to the Chain of Ownership, and subject to the leveling framework, performance cycles, and promotional path.
Independent Contractor (IC)
An individual engaged for a defined scope or duration, delivering against agreed outcomes.
Institutional Support (IS)
An external organization, agency, or firm engaged to provide services or capability at the institutional level, rather than a single named individual.
How You Grow
Seven levels form the Chain of Ownership at elAgent. Each level takes accountability for its own scope and for enabling the levels below it, while operating in support of the level above.
Contributor
No prior experience required, but domain knowledge is a prerequisite. Takes ownership of assigned tasks and drives them to completion with the help of L2s and L3s.
Senior Contributor
Takes in tasks with minimal supervision while still supporting the team through mentoring, reviews, and unblocking, and proactively seeks out beneficial tasks to present to L3.
Manager
Manages a single initiative end-to-end and all its associated elements. Where the initiative carries direct reports, Managers hold them responsible for their work and performance, and where it doesn't, Managers drive the initiative hands-on.
Associate Director
Oversees multiple initiatives, in support of and as assigned by L5s and above. This is the coordination layer that keeps parallel initiatives and their Managers coherent.
Director
Complete accountability for a portfolio of initiatives and the delivery of business value, owning outcomes against company success indicators.
Managing Director
Accountable at business-unit scale (product lines, market expansion, commercial channels, etc.) with cross-product coherence, in support of the Executive level.
Executive / Chief
Accountable for company-level direction and results across all units. Appointed by weighted assessment of merit, experience, instrumentality, and stakeholder trust, where no single factor is ever sufficient.
Entry
Consistent with Output-Based Work, no level carries a hard year-count requirement. Whether hiring externally or promoting internally, entry into a level is decided by whether your actual work exhibits the characteristics of that level. Years of experience are evidence, never a gate. For example, a self-taught engineer with four years of genuine L3-scope work outranks a credentialed candidate with ten years of L1-scope work.
The assessment rubric is built directly from the level characteristics, and the same rubric is used for both hiring and internal promotion, so internal and external candidates are held to one standard.
In addition to standard recruitment, elAgent is highly focused on identifying promising talent during the earliest phases of their professional journey, or even prior to its start. Through our dedicated internship initiatives, we aim to recruit candidates with the highest potential. To ensure we maintain our high standards, we only accept interns who are referred by existing employees. This referral-only approach ensures that the top-tier candidates we have already vetted are responsible for bringing in others of the same caliber.
Promotional Cycles
Performance Rating
Each fiscal year concludes with a performance assessment: a self-assessment paired with an assessment from your performance manager, both measured against your OBW commitments and level characteristics. It concludes in one of three ratings:
Not Met triggers a documented support plan with your performance manager, not automatic separation.
Met means solid and acceptable delivery at the current level.
Exceeded means exhibiting characteristics of the next level. This triggers the case for promotion.
Promotion Mechanics
Any three standalone fiscal years of Exceeded output at the same level enables a formal promotion case. A Met or Not Met year does not erase prior Exceeded ratings, and earned Exceeded ratings never expire. The three years are a measurement window for proving sustained above-level output, not a tenure requirement.
The promotion case is decided against the target level's characteristics using the same rubric discipline as hiring, with written reasoning shared with you whichever way it goes.
Regular check-ins keep the trajectory conversation going, lightweight and with no ratings, so annual assessments never contain a surprise.

but it can be shaped.”
