Settings
The Settings screen is your control center for managing your account and app preferences. Access it from the gear icon in the bottom navigation bar.
Personal
Update your profile information including your name and date of birth.
Phone
Manage your connected phone number and call-related settings.
Subscription
View your current plan, billing cycle, and payment method.
Permissions
Control which device permissions the app can access.
Notifications
Customize how and when you receive alerts and push notifications.
Privacy & Security
Review and manage your data privacy settings and control your information.
Feedback & Support
Submit support tickets, report bugs, or share feedback to help improve the app.
Language & Theme
Two quick-access controls sit in the top-right corner of the Settings screen — one for language and one for app theme. Both are visible at a glance without opening any sub-menu.

Language
The language icon (文A) changes the app's selected language. English (ENG) is the only fully supported language at this time. Additional languages will added in future updates.
Theme
The moon or sun icon toggles the app between dark and light mode. Tap it to switch instantly — the icon updates to reflect the current theme.
Personal
The Personal section lets you update the basic profile information tied to your account. Tap any row to edit its value.
Name
Tap the Name row to open an edit your name. Your display name is shown on your profile and across the app. Your Secretary will use this name in conversations to represent you when speaking with callers.
Date of Birth
Tap the Date of Birth row to update your birth date. Your date of birth is used to verify eligibility requirements.
⚠Minimum age requirement
Users must be at least 13 years old to register and use elAgent. A date of birth that does not meet this requirement will not be accepted.
Phone
The Phone section shows your currently linked phone number and lets you change it or configure call forwarding.
Phone Number
View and update the phone number linked to your account.
Your currently linked phone number is displayed at the top of the card. Tap Change Phone Number to begin the process of updating the number associated with your account. You will be guided through verification steps to confirm ownership of the new number before the change takes effect.
Call Forwarding
Call forwarding routes incoming calls to your Secretary's number. You can set it up, view its status, and disable it directly from this section. For a comprehensive guide to call forwarding, see the Call Forwarding documentation.
When call forwarding has not been set up, the row shows a blue Setup button. Tap it to enter the phone number you want calls forwarded to and complete the configuration.
Once active, the card displays an amber Active badge alongside the destination number. To turn it off, tap Disable Call Forwarding at the bottom of the card.

Contacts
Manage your blocked and whitelisted contacts from this section. Tap either row to view the full list and remove contacts as needed.

Calls
Configure how your Secretary handles call recordings and emergency transfers.
Save Call Transcripts
When enabled, your Secretary will record and save text and audio transcripts of all calls. These transcripts are stored securely and can be reviewed later from your call history.
Secretary Bypass
When enabled, your Secretary will allow any caller — including unknown numbers — to be transferred directly to you in cases of emergency or urgency. This ensures critical calls can reach you even if the caller is not in your contacts.
Subscription
The Subscription screen shows your current plan, usage meter, and options to upgrade or change tiers. elAgent offers three subscription tiers to fit different needs. All subscription tiers include all features — only usage rate is affected. For detailed pricing information, see the Secretary Agent product page.
Subscription Tiers
Free Forever
Get started with Secretary Agent at no cost. The Free Forever tier includes 10 AI-screened calls every month — free, forever. Your call quota resets at the beginning of each month.
Quota Tier
For more controlled usage without fixed monthly commitment, the Quota Tier is a pay-as-you-go option that lets you purchase credits in bundles. Credits never expire.
Premium Tier
For power users, the Premium Tier delivers unlimited AI-screened calls with no caps or quotas. Pay a fixed price regardless for how much you use.
Changing Subscription
You can switch between subscription tiers at any time. Each tier offers different flexibility for managing your usage.
From Free Forever
Free Forever users can upgrade to Quota Tier or Premium Tier at any time. Simply tap the tier you want to switch to from the Change Subscription section.
From Quota Tier
Quota Tier users can switch to Free Forever or upgrade to Premium Tier at any time. A key benefit: switching to Free Forever preserves your purchased Quota credits — they never expire, giving you full control over when to use them.
From Premium Tier
Premium subscriptions are set to auto-renew by default. To cancel, tap the Cancel Premium Subscription button. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Once the billing period ends, you will be automatically switched to the Free Forever tier and can continue using elAgent with the monthly free call allowance.

Permissions
The Permissions screen lets you control which device permissions the app can access. Each permission can be toggled on or off depending on the features you want to use.
Biometrics
Adds an extra layer of security in addition to your passcode. When enabled, you can use Face ID or fingerprint authentication to unlock the app.
Notifications
Toggles push notifications on or off. When enabled, you will receive alerts for incoming calls, messages, and other app updates.
Calls
Allows the Calls tab Dial pad to work for outgoing calls. This permission is required to place calls directly from the app.
Calling Account
Allows incoming calls to be receivable, such as whitelisted calls or Secretary call transfers. Enable this to receive calls through the app.
Contacts
Allows the app to access your device contacts to whitelist trusted callers. Your contacts are only used locally for caller identification.
Microphone
Allows you to take calls and speak back. This permission is required for any voice communication through the app.
Notifications
The Notifications screen lets you control exactly which services and events trigger push notifications. Customize your alerts to stay informed about what matters most.
Summary Notifications
Control which call summary urgency levels trigger notifications. Tap the Summary row to access granular controls for each urgency level.

Normal
Receive notifications for routine call summaries with no special urgency. Enable this for complete visibility into all screened calls.
Urgent
Receive notifications when a call is flagged as urgent by your Secretary. These are time-sensitive calls that may require your attention soon.
Emergency
Receive notifications for calls marked as emergencies. These are critical calls that require immediate attention and should rarely be disabled.

The Privacy & Security section gives you full control over your personal data and how it is stored, exported, or deleted.

Data Purge
Automatically delete your account data (transcripts, call history, etc.) on a scheduled basis. Choose the interval that fits your privacy preferences.
- Never (Default) — Your data is retained indefinitely until you manually delete it.
- Every 30 days — Data is automatically purged monthly.
- Every 90 days — Data is automatically purged quarterly.
- Every 180 days — Data is automatically purged every six months.

Data Export
Export the current state of your data at any time. Select which data types to include in your export.
- Call History — Your complete record of incoming and outgoing calls.
- Summaries — AI-generated call summaries, including:
- Notes — Your personal notes attached to summaries.
- Transcripts — Full text transcripts of recorded calls.
- Action Items — Tasks extracted from your calls.
- Account Activity — Login history, settings changes, and account events.

Security
Change Passcode
Update your account passcode at any time. A strong passcode helps keep your account secure.
Account Activity
Review all important actions taken by or against your account. Each event displays an event icon as a green indicator for successful actions or a red indicator for failed attempts, along with the location and exact timestamp.

Danger
Delete Account
Permanently delete your elAgent account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
⚠Disable call forwarding first
Before deleting your account, you must disable call forwarding on your device. Failing to do so may result in calls continuing to be forwarded to elAgent servers, which could cause issues with your phone service. Go to your phone's call settings and remove any forwarding rules before proceeding with account deletion.
Feedback & Support
For questions, suggestions, or issues, use the Feedback & Support form to reach out directly to elAgent.
Category
Select the type of feedback you are submitting — choose from options like Bug Report, Feature Request, or General Support Request.
Subject
Provide a brief title that summarizes your feedback or issue. Keep it concise for faster routing.
Message
Describe your feedback, question, or issue in detail. Include steps to reproduce if reporting a bug, or context if requesting a feature.
Media Attachment
Optionally attach a photo or video to help illustrate your feedback. Screenshots of bugs or mockups for feature requests are especially helpful. Please ensure you are on Wi-Fi or faster internet connection if attaching documents.
Submit
Once complete, tap Submit to send your feedback to the elAgent support team. You will receive a confirmation and may be contacted for follow-up.
